Lisa O'Sullivan is a big sports fan and is over the moon about being reunited with her first love Netball, after dalliances with rallying, rugby, tennis and athletics, but can't believe how bad her shooting is these days.
As a radio journalist she's no stranger to talking out loud about balls and how to handle them. She can be heard on talkSPORT, Absolute Radio and BBC London and during her career has covered the British and Irish Lions Tour of Australia, rugby's Six Nations, Wimbledon, the Sydney Olympics, Commonwealth Games and London Marathon.
The Essex girl started her broadcasting career in news at Essex FM, having grown up in the area playing netball for Eastwood, rugby for Southend, tennis for Hockley and had swum and played waterpolo for RADS aka Rochford. Talking out loud for a living has taken Lisa to London where she worked for ITN and Classic FM before going freelance. Since then she's also been one of the writers and producers behind the news and sport on the sadly missed Big Breakfast, and one of the co-presenters on "The Score" a popular football based music show on the BFBS network (British Forces Broadcasting Service). Lisa loves dogs (especially chocolate or black labradors) but also likes cats, has a preference for deep pink roses but will accept any fresh flowers, and is striving for world peace. No you can't have my vital stats...
